Custom Taylor'd Carpentry is a woodshop based in Media, Pennsylvania,

producing custom cabinetry, furniture, and fine woodworking, heirloom goods.

Careeer carpenter Kyle Taylor opened the doors in 2022 seeking the

intersection of functional carpentry and artistic beauty.

 Taylor works directly with clients to create a consolidated and streamlined process. The result is a one-man operation for design, pricing, and building.

He also brings his years of experience in home renovation to the table. For nearly a decade his work has focused in the Greater Philadelphia area and in homes with classical architecture. He brings this knowledge to the table in his design and building techniques, creating pieces that are meant to easily integrate into an existing space when desired.

In the shop, both traditional and modern joinery techniques are regularly practiced to create products that are flexible in both aesthetic quality and budget, whether you're looking for a statement piece that highlights the technicalities of the build; or just looking to expand your storage options with cost-effective, yet professional, bespoke cabinetry. 

 

Custom Taylor'd Carpentry also works with a multitude of suppliers to provide ample options to clients in choosing their materials- from exotic and domestic hardwoods; to reclaimed wood; to live edge slabs; all are available and familiar materials.

Clients even have the option to hand select their own material if desired.

The Fine Print (from the Carpenter):

Initial consultations and estimates are free of charge. I will meet directly with clients to discuss the project at hand and talk through possible options, budget constrictions, and any other pertinent details.

 

If design services are requested, Custom Taylor'd Carpentry will request a $100-$250 fee for these services, pending the breadth of their detail. This fee will be retained by Custom Taylor'd Carpentry should the client decide to not move forward. 

If the project progresses through Custom Taylor'd Carpentry, the initial design fee will be applied to and deducted from the client's overall final pricing.
